Healthy treats can be very difficult to find… especially in the todays society where something can be labeled “healthy” or “natural” when really it isnt at all. So first thing is first please keep in mind that treats are suppose to be something that is a rarity or a once of week kinda thing… not an everyday thing especially if you are trying to lose weight or get lean. I hope you enjoy these EASY, healthy, delicious recipes and foods that I have found to be the most healthy and delicious when it comes to treats! These are my go-to sweets! Smart sweet gummies
If you are a gummy person you are going to LOVE these. 3 grams of sugar, 80 calories per bag!!! Its every girls dream come true and they taste so delicious. I normally get these at local grocery store but due to high depend its hard to get them so I just ordered a big package off of amazon! My favorite is the peach rings... they are to die for! 🙂
Dark Chocolate 70%+
This is my go-to chocolate. When I first tried this I was like wow but then would I looked at the nutrition label I was like no way! Because its so tasty and smooth. In my opinion its better than dove chocolate! 🙂
3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 1 cup peanut butter or almond butter
- 1 egg
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a baking mat or parchment paper.

Using a wooden spoon, mix together the peanut butter, white sugar and egg until smooth.

Form dough into heaping tablespoons (about 3/4 inch). Then roll the dough ball in a small bowl of sugar, if desired, to coat the outside. Place on the baking sheet at least 2 inches apart, and then use a fork to flatten and form a cross pattern.

Bake for 10-15 minutes, until the cookies are just slightly browned on the bottom. Be careful not to over-bake. Remove and let cool on the baking sheet for 1 minute, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Popcorn
Best popcorn ever. If you are looking for a low calorie, crunchy and delicious popcorn here it is! They have plenty of flavors on amazon but this one is by far my favorite! 50 calories per cup!
4 Ingredient Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups gluten free rolled oats (Can sub for quinoa flakes or buckwheat flakes)
- 3 large overripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (can sub for any nut butter)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix very well, until fully combined. If using chocolate chips, stir them in with a spatula.

Lightly wet your hands and form 8 balls with the cookies. Place each ball on the lined mat, and press each ball into a cookie shape. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly golden on the edges. Remove from the oven.

Allow cooling on the mat for 10 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
